Enhanced Black Twisted Nematic liquid crystal display technology offers one of the best negative image displays with a super high contrast ratio up to 500:1. The contrast of EBTN displays exceeds the ratios achievable with conventional negative TN, STN or FSTN technologies. The EBTN liquid crystal displays have a very dark background with low light leakage leading to a very wide viewing angle. WIth a very wide operating temperature, these displays do not require any temperature compensation.
With the high contrast, these displays are best suited for 7-segment displays and icon displays. The high performance of the EBTN LCDs make them ideal for applications such as automotive, watches, audio equipment, multimeters, home appliances and information display boards.
